Corrections

Specific, visible and attached to the record.

Accuracy is a continuing obligation. We distinguish factual corrections, clarifications, updates and disagreements. We do not silently erase material mistakes.

Factual correction

A material statement, number, attribution or implication was wrong. The article receives a dated note explaining what changed.

Clarification

The original wording could reasonably mislead even if technically accurate. We make the intended meaning explicit.

Update

New evidence or events change the current picture. The update is dated and does not pretend the earlier publication knew the future.

Submit evidence

A strong correction identifies the exact sentence and the better source.

Email the article URL, exact wording and supporting evidence to kethsarakothalawala@gmail.com. Do not send confidential documents through ordinary email.
